Liu Chuanzhi

Liu Chuanzhi (April 29, 1944) is a Chinese businessman. Liu was head founder of the large computer international company Lenovo.
Liu founded Lenovo (whose English name was originally Legend, in Chinese 联想 Lianxiang), in 1984 with a group of ten other engineers in Beijing with 200,000 yuan ($25,000 USD). The listed holding company was incorporated in 1988 in Hong Kong.
He attended the People's Liberation Army Institute of Telecommunication Engineering, now Xidian University.
