Liu Tianhua

- This is a Chinese name; the family name is Liu (劉).
Liu Tianhua or Liu T'ien-hua, Pinyin: Liú Tiānhuá, (刘天华 or 劉天華; b. Jiangyin, Jiangsu, China, 1895; d. 1932) was a Chinese musician and a composer best known for his reformative work for the erhu (Chinese two-string fiddle).
Students of Liu who continued to contribute to the development of the erhu include Jiang Fengzhi and Chen Zhenduo.
