Talk:Live...In the Heart of the City

As it stands today this describes what I'm guessing is the American release.
The full story is more interesting. In the beginning there was a Japanese only single live album called if I recall correctly "Live In Hammersmith" and taken from the Lovehunter tour which became a very successful import in the UK (See also MSG Live at the Budokan for a similar example). So, Whitesnake in the wake of "Fool for your Lovin" recorded another concert at the Hammy Odeon and released a double live album consisting of the the expensive Japanese Import as one disk and the new material as the second disk & neatly forcing all of the diehard fans who'd bought the import to upgrade.
This is all from memory so if anyone wants to get a few citations & add this to the main page go ahead. Megamanic 07:46, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
