Loenen-Kronenburg
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Loenen-Kronenburg is the name of a short-lived municipality, now part of Loenen in the Dutch province of Utrecht. Between 1814 and 1817, the municipality of Loenen was located on the border between the provinces of Holland and Utrecht. The part in Holland was split off in 1817, under the name "Loenen-Kronenburg". After it was transferred to the province of Utrecht in 1819, it merged again into a single municipality "Loenen", which still exists.[1]
