Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz is a rap duo consisting of Sean Hamilton and Peter Pankey. They had a hit in 1998 with the platinum single "Deja Vu (Uptown Baby)" which hit number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their contrasting styles, Gunz with his laid back and Tariq with his gritty flow create a dynamic and interesting rap duo. Their first album "Make it Reign" is a mix of party tracks, tracks talking about real life, love and collaborations with rap heavyweights (Big Punisher, Fat Joe, Sticky Fingaz, Kurupt and Cam'ron). Lord Tariq has a solo album "The Barcode" that features Peter Gunz and his son Cory Gunz. Lord Tariq had also done a collaboration with Jay-Z and Nas in 1998, the track is entitled "Analyze This" and was released before Jay-Z and Nas feuded in 2001.
