Lori Linstruth is a virtuoso guitarist. She currently resides in Kronoberg, Sweden. She studies at Växjö University.

Linstruth first shows up on radar in the late eighties when she moves from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of an all-female metal band. It was in Los Angeles that she formed Warbride. Prior to this, Linstruth had already gotten some exposure from being featured in Mike Varney's "Spotlight" column in the magazine Guitar Player. The ever-changing line-up of Warbride fell apart a few years later and the band was subsequently put on indefinite hiatus.

As of 2004, rumours have circulated claiming that Linstruth is starting Warbride up again.

In 2006 Linstruth contributed with two solos on the tribute-project Mountain Of Power, lead by guitarist Janne Stark (Grooveyard Records 2006).

Around 2004, Linstruth became involved in Arjen Lucassen's latest project Stream of Passion, touring extensively in 2005 and 2006.

A short and most probably final tour is planned for early 2007.

[edit] Musical style

While Linstruth herself promotes Rammstein as one of her main influences, she is also known to be influenced by Uli Jon Roth, Michael Schenker and Yngwie J. Malmsteen, the latter also being of Swedish origin.

She uses the wah and the tremolo extensively, and her vibrato is widely acclaimed.
