The ABC Show Lost probably has the highest number of podcasts dedicated to a single TV series. The cryptic nature of the show means that fans have a new media where they can discuss and listen to theories of Lost. The general format of all Lost podcasts are as follows:
1. Introduction to the structure of the show by the host.
2. A synopsis of the most recent episode.
3. An anlysis of the most recent episode, which may invited listeners for their opinions.
4. An exmaination of new or revised theories.
5. A preview of the next episode or discussion of spoliers.

The Official Lost Podcast
This is the official Lost podcast in the USA and regularly features special guest appearances from cast members as well as the shows producers. Fans of the show are also given the opportunity to ask questions to the guests.1
The Lost Podcast with Jay and Jack
This is a twice a week podcast/vodcast dedicated to the ABC show. The hosts Jay and Jack discuss the latest episodes, theories as well as upcoming spoliers. Each podcast edition tends to last about 1 hour.
LOSTCasts
A weekly podcast which discusses the latest theories and speculation occurring online. The podcast has a website which fans can further their knowledge of the show, http://www.Lostcasts.com.2
The Dharmalars: Lost Podcast
Hosts, Ralph, Ben and Producer Ryan discuss the latest episodes of the show. The Show also gives a unique insight into The LOST Score. So far there have been 16 editions of the podcast, with two featured vodcasts.

The Lost Initiative
The official UK Lost Podcast presented by Iain Lee and features opinions from Geeky Tom and the editor of the Lost Magazine Paul Terry. 3 The podcast was originally called UK Lost when the show was aired on Channel 4, however its name changed once it moved to Sky One at the start of Season three of Lost. There have been 14 editions of the Lost Initiative, which are updated every Sunday, after the Lost episode has aired on Sky One. Although the show does not have special guest stars as its U.S. counterpart, it does provide a unique insight into spoilers. The podcast has its on LostLine, which invites listeners to share their own theories/speculations of the show. Although, the host does make a point that he is more than willing to slam down any callers/emailers theories with little hesitation. The Lost Initiative also has has a Vodcast named Lost Moments.4
