The Nazgûl were they, the Ringwraiths, the Enemy's most terrible servants; darkness went with them, and they cried with the voices of death.
— The Silmarillion
Come not between the Nazgûl and his prey! Or he will not slay thee in thy turn. He will bear thee away to the houses of lamentation, beyond all darkness, where thy flesh shall be devoured, and thy shrivelled mind be left naked to the Lidless Eye.
— The Black Captain
I am a research geoscientist by trade, although I take keen interest in many different topics, including physics, history of science, religion, ethics, and Tolkien mythology, among others. I became an editor because, while many of the science articles on Wikipedia are already well-written, other articles needed work.
