Loulou de La Falaise is a fashion muse and designer associated with Yves Saint-Laurent.
Born Louise Vava Lucia Henriette de La Falaise in 1948, she is the daughter of Alain, count de La Falaise, a French nobleman, and Maxine Birley.
Her maternal grandfather was the portrait painter Sir Oswald Birley.
An Anglo-Irish fashion model, she went on to become a magazine editor, cookbook writer, underground-movie actress, and furniture designer.
Her first husband was Desmond FitzGerald, the 29th Knight of Glin.
Her second husband is Thadée Klossowski, a son of the painter Balthus.
Her niece, Lucie de La Falaise, also a model and actress, has married Marlon Richards, the son of Rolling Stone Keith Richards and Anita Pallenberg.
