Born in Queens, New York. Lovari attended Our Lady Of Lourdes Grammar School, Bayside High School, Queensborough College. In 2000, he appeared on the Jenny Jones Show. In 2002, his first single "These Tears" was released with Warlock Records. Due to poor promotion and Warlock's bankruptcy, Lovari's next project was held off until 2006. He released his debut CD via his own imprint Comida Mi Chocha Records. Lovari has been compared to 80s dance artists, such as George Michael and Boy George and to 90s acts such as Color Me Badd.

In 2002, Lovari's debut single These Tears was featured on the dance compilation album Estilo Libre : La Nueva Generaccion (Warlock Records)
In 2006, after success on internet based stations and then a crossover into FM radio with All I Want Is You (which reached # 1 on Hot 96FM in Portland, OR), Lovari released his debut album. Self titled, Lovari was issued under his own label imprint, Comida Mi Chocha Records. Promotion for this album included The Passions Tour and several newspaper, magazine, internet, and radio interviews, including The Tribune(NY newspaper), The Courier(NY newspaper), Hot 96FM, 2DaGroove Radio, and SMP.
In general, the album received favourable reviews and praise fom such celebrties as Omar Tyree (author - Flyygirl) and Linnea Quigley (actress The Return Of The Living Dead).

In 2002, "These Tears" (Warlock Records),reached # 4 on DMA Magazine Freestyle Chart and airplay on WKTU (103.5) dance station in New York. In 2006, the song made a resurgence on some charts,including reaching #1 in Czechoslovakia. due to Lovari's release of his full length debut album.
In 2006, "All I Want Is You" from his self titled debut album reached #1 on Hot 96 FM in Portland, OR. However, it did not enter Billboard's Hot 100. The followup single, "Get Over", reached # 5 on JT 30 Chart and # 6 on Hot 96 FM. The third single, "I Feel You" (2007) is currently making the playlists of various internet and FM radio stations.

Lovari appeared as a cook in The Interpreter (2005), directed by Sidney Pollack and stars Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn. Lovari also appeared as an office worker in the musical comedy Shut Up & Sing (2006), directed by Bruce Leddy
In December 2006, Lovari announced the completion of his first script Shore Thing, which is expected to start filming in early 2007.

Lovari had brief appearances in the television shows Law & Order: Trial by Jury (2005), Love Monkey (2006), Conviction (2006), and Six Degrees (2006)

In 2006/2007, Lovari embarked on "The Passion Tour",a promotional show in support of his debut album. The show included both original and cover songs. Most performances were held on the East Coast.
