Lower Rivington Reservoir
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lower Rivington Reservoir is at the end of the Rivington chain of reservoirs, with Upper Rivington Reservoir to the north, and Rivington Water Treatment Works to the south. It is the last reservoir before the system connects into the Thirlmere Aqueduct.
On the banks of the reservoir is the replica of the ruined Liverpool Castle, and to the south west is the Headless Cross at Grimeford Village.
