[edit] Plot
Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
Lucky neglects Luanne when he becomes obsessed with retrieving a walnut stump his father found, so Luanne accepts a 15-year-old's invitation to the senior prom.
[edit] Trivia
- The song that Lucky requested as a last dance with Luanne was 25 or 6 to 4 by Chicago.
- The theme of the prom is "A Knight to Remember".
- Jack, Hank's barber, appears in this episode despite the fact that he went crazy and was presumed to have retired after the episode "Hank's Bad Hair Day" (Season 4, Episode 19). This inconsistency also occurred in "My Hair Lady" (Season 8, Episode 11).
[edit] Goofs
- When Lucky explains the background story of the tree stump to Hank and friends, he mentions that he received his settlement money from Costco when he slipped on urine while shopping for a new car wrench. But in "Arlen City Bomber", Lucky says he received his settlement money from Costco while shopping for a new TV.
[edit] Quotes
- Luanne: It's Kevin! You can't be here, it's bad luck to see me before the prom!
Bobby: I think that's on your wedding day, Luanne.
Luanne: Oh. - Luanne: This is such a magical night. I feel just like Cinderella! Little boy, did you used to be a mouse?
- Dale: I'm so cold.
Hank: We're all cold Dale.
Bill: If we huddle together we will retain our heat and we won't get hypothermia.
Hank: Not a chance.
Bill: C'mon hank no one will ever know.
Hank: I will; and that's enough.
