The Lubbock Renegades are an af2 expansion team scheduled to begin play in 2007. The team will play their home games at the CityBank Coliseum, which was the former home of the IFL/NIFL team, the Lubbock Lone Stars/Gunslingers. The team will be owned by Don McGregor, Rick Dykes, and Bart Reagor. It will be coached by former Texas Tech wide receiver Rodney Blackshear.
