Luca Garri

Luca Garri was born on January 3, 1982 in Asti, Italy. He is a basketball player of 207 cm and 109 kg, whose role is center. He currently plays for Lottomatica Roma.

His career started in 1999 playing for Basket Montecatini, the following year he moved to Livorno, where he spent four years until the transaction in 2004 to join Virtus Roma. However his first year in Rome wasn't very easy so he was loaned to Angelico Biella in the following year. After a year in Piemonte Garri returned in his current team. Garri is a dynamic player with good skills both in the paint and on the perimeter, he has a good three points shoot.

Garri played for Italian national team at the European Juniores Championship in 2000 (4th place), in 2002 he partecipated at the European Championship Under 20 (11th place). He won a silver medal as a member of Italian roster at Athens 2004, and the following year he won Mediterranean Games in Almeria, Spain. In 2006 Luca partecipated with his national team at the World Championship
