Luděk Mikloško

Ludek Miklosko (born 9 December 1961 in Ostrava) is a former Czech football goalkeeper.
Ludo Miklosko started his career in his native Czechoslovakia with Banik Ostrava. His talent was noted by West Ham United who snapped him up in February 1990. A brave and excellent shot stopper with a huge clearance kick, he went on to play 374 times for the team. He was named Hammer of the Year in 1991 and was eventually sold to Queens Park Rangers in 1998 for a nominal fee after a successful loan spell.
Miklosko received 41 caps for the Czech Republic. He retired due to injury in 2001. He then returned to West Ham, where he took up a goalkeeping coaching role. However, after an intense rehabilitation programme, he is ready to come out of retirement and join one of the lower leagues, preferably in England.
In January 2007, Ludek was rumoured to be on the verge of penning a short-term move to Championship team Leeds United who are actively seeking cover for their only first-team goalkeeper, Neil Sullivan.
