Luis Pereira Robson (born 21 September 1974 in Volta Redonda, Brazil) is a Brazilian football forward, widely considered as the first successful import in the Russian Premier League. Luis Robson started his professional career at Matsubara. Having played for various small clubs in Brazil, he finally moved to Brazilian Série A club Goias in 1996. After spending one year at Goias, Robson moved to Corinthians. The player also had a one-year spell at U.D. Leiria of Portugal, before moving to Russia, where he spent the next five years, the most successful in his career. With Spartak, Robson won five Russian Premier League titles and played in the Champions League
After Leaving Spartak Moscow, Robson never really found his form and had short, not very successful spells in Japan and France, before returning to Brazil, where he signed for Marília. In 2006 His contract with Marília expired and he found himself without a club.
