I'm Italian. I'm sorry for my raw english, but in the same way as Pope John Paul II I says:

Se mi sbaglio mi corrigerete John Paul II

In italian means: if i make a grammatic mistake, you'll correct me; but the sentence has itself a grammatic mistake.
