Lyuban

Lyban (Russian: Любань) is a town in Tosnensky District of Leningrad Oblast, Russia, situated on the Tigoda River 85 km south-east of St. Petersburg. Population: 4,616 (2002 Census); 5,078 (1989 Census).
The settlement has been known since the 15th century. Town status granted in 1912. The Moscow-Saint Petersburg Railway passes through the town. The main industrial enterprise is a lumber plant.
