I'm not gonna be online very much for the next few days because of Easter vacation. Happy Easter everybody! Mackan 12:37, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] About me
I am not Japanese but I speak and read Japanese effortlessly (writing is so-so). I mainly contribute to articles related to Japanese language, things Japanese, fashion, or food/cooking.
[edit] Thoughts on Wikipedia
Here's my prediction for the future of Wikipedia: as Wikipedia gets more and more popular, and starts appearing #1 on more and more google search terms, more and more people are gonna be pissed off how more and more people read articles on whatever which are not slanted in the way the wish they were. What with the blog phenomenon and Japanese 2channel's "matsuri" and "enjo" etc etc, off-site canvassing of articles are going to create more and more problems, and in the end, Wikipedia is probably going to explode. But that's cool, that's the way the internet works. Everybody thought Altavista was great at first, but when people realised their page rank algorithms weren't working very well, they were happy to start using Google instead. Let's hope Larry Sanger's Citizendium will pick it up where Wikipedia has failed.
