- On Wikipedia
I joined on 8 June 2006. I originally used the name Alex9891, but I wanted something more unique so from 14 November 2006 I've been known as Majorly. According to this page, I'm the 741st highest contributor to Wikipedia :o
- As a writer
I've written several articles, most quite short, and nothing with any sort of status. However, I am pleased to have had four articles I started feature on the main page, three on Did You Know, and one in the news. I do have a featured list planned though, and a featured article as well hopefully.
- As an admin
I became an administrator on 28 October 2006. I mostly do janitorial work here; I close lots of Articles for deletion debates; I hang around requests for page protection and the administrator intervention against vandalism board waiting for requests. I occasionally try to clear candidates for speedy deletion, but I find it frustrating that many good articles get tagged inappropriately; I often end up removing more tags than deleting. I also do a bit of recent changes patrol. I frequently visit requests for adminship, a process I like to involve myself with a lot. I support candidates mostly, and have nominated a few people as well. See my RfA page for more details. According to this page, I'm the 489th highest contributing admin :O
