22 year old Savonlinna-born finn living in Kuopio, Finland. Studying business (marketing&management) at Savonia University of Applied Sciences.
Besides educating myself, I am Chairman of the board of its Students' Union SAVOTTA. I gather experience & knowledge (eg. for my wiki-additions) also by serving in the Savonia Study Grants Board, Savonia Administrative Board (dep. member) and Research Development Group.
Recently I have been also taking part in planning and forming of the Consortium of Higher Education in Northern Savonia (between University of Kuopio and Savonia) and projects such as The Finnish Higher Education Evaluation Councils' "Undergraduate as a social/communal influencer 2006". As such, I have formed quite a good perspective in Savonia, University of Kuopio and the whole spectrum of higher education in Finland. With current age of "structural development in Finnish higher education", this has been a very interesting "lookout spot" to the heart of academic circles. Albeit the exposure has been brief, but it has left an appetite to learn more - like with Wikipedia. There's always more to learn and to write about.
I have also a quite deep involvement with local premiership football (soccer) team KuPS.
