Michael "Man Mountain" Marko is a Marvel Comics supervillain. Marko was and remains an affiliate of numerous organized-crime entities in the Marvel universe, including The Maggia. He was originally introduced as the right hand man of Silvermane in the 73rd issue of The Amazing Spider-Man.
Marko has always been a C-list villain, having only one superpower (strength) and few apparent character traits. He was allied with Silvermane, Caesar Cicero, the Eel, and Nightshade. His most frequent enemies were Spider-man, Power Man, Iron Fist, Thunderbolt, and Boomerang.
Man Mountain Marko exists at the fringes of normal comics continuity, and is very seldom used. His most recent appearance was in issues 4 and 5 (February and March, 2002) of the Brian Michael Bendis series Alias, as a sexually threatening hitman attempting to kill Jessica Jones.
