From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The following is a list of the organization of Manchukuo Imperial Navy Forces during 7-8 December 1941.
The Manchukuo Imperial Naval Forces (Manshu Teikoku Kaigun) were under direct command of Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN). The Commanding Officers were unknown, but believed to be active or reserve Imperial Japanese Navy personnel. The vessels were operated by the Japanese or sometimes Manchu crews.
The Sungari River Fleet and others were operated jointly with their Japanese counterparts, under the leadership of Imperial Japanese Army. Later in World War II the main units of Manchu Navy were assigned to IJN 3rd China (North) Fleet.
