Manuel Sanchís Martínez (born Alberique, Valencia, March 26, 1938 ) was a Spanish footballer who played as a defender for Real Madrid and Spain during the 1960s. He also played for CD Condal, Real Valladolid and Córdoba CF. He is the father of Manuel Sanchís Hontiyuelo, who also played for Real Madrid and Spain.
Sanchís was a member of the successful Real Madrid team of the 1960s and helped them win four La Liga titles, one Copa del Generalísimo and one European Cup. During his career at Real he made 143 La Liga appearances and played a further 35 games in European competitions. He also played 11 times for Spain and represented them at the World Cup in 1966. During the group stages of this competition he scored a rare goal as Spain beat Switzerland 2-1.
