Darrell Alexander is the first principal of Manvel High School, being named to the position in July 2005.
Manvel serves the city of Manvel, the town of Iowa Colony, and portions of the city of Pearland (including the Brazoria County portion of Shadow Creek Ranch, SouthFork, and Lakes of Savannah), and additional portions of unincorporated Brazoria County (including Rosharon) [1].
[edit] Standardized dress
Alvin ISD requires all students to wear standardized dress, which is similar to a school uniform; the issue on whether or not to have them in school is very controversial among students and staff.
