Mangrio ﻮﯾﺭﮝﻤ
Mangrio (ﻮﯾﺭﮝﻤ) is the most common cast (ذﺍت) of Sindhis living in Pakistan and India. The most Mangrios live in Pakistan’s Province Sindh. The Great communities of Mangrios are living in the Great Desert of THAR, and other remaining Mangrios are living in the UMERKOT (Thar), KANDYARO, SUKKUR, NAOSHARO FEROZE, RAHIM YAR KHAN, JAISLMER (India), and other many Districts of Sindh, Punjab and India.
Fakir Abdul Rahim Grohiri Mangrio (1152A.H-1192A.H) is the Saint and Poet of Sindh.
HISTORY
The Mangrio Tribe Was Started in the Desert of Rajputana’s state where a Hindu Raja named as Baji Rai who rule that state. His Unmarried Daughter give birth a child as MUSLIM then raja killed his daughter and also want to kill the child but he cannot do this because he is miraculous child. The Raja throws the child in fire but fire cannot burn the child that is why the child named as MANGRRAI. MANGRRAI (ﻤﮝﺭﺭﺍﺀۥ) means FIRE Then Raja give that child to a Muslims. MANGRAI get married, after that he have two Sons and a Daughter. Then he goes to Jaisalmer. After many years the Mangrio Tribe migrates from Jaisalmer to Shah Garh, then in Sindh First of all they go in Ranipur and then Mirpur Khas and then other Cities.
