Maple Hills Elementary School is located between the cities of Issaquah and Renton, Washington and serves grades kindergarten through 5th. The school takes in students predominantly from the Issaquah area. Maple Hills is part of the Issaquah School District and is a feeder school for Maywood Middle School and Liberty Senior High School.
Located in the south end of the district, Maple Hills staff, parents and community together support a dynamic learning environment. A rich tradition of involvement and volunteerism strengthens and enriches the school experience. Maple Hills provides a range of services based on research, best practices, and available resources in order to meet the needs of all students. In 1997, Maple Hills completed a major remodel in which the new school design won many architectural awards.
Maple Hills was an early innovator in staff collaboration. Since 1993, Maple Hills Wednesdays have ended early for students and continue - often well into the evening - for staff training and collaboration. Similar models have now been adopted throughout the Issaquah School District, bringing the benefits of professional collaboration to all students.
