[edit] use by Hezbollah
the pictures taken by Mark Torpedo have been illegally used by a news paper claiming it is the war ship of Israel that were struck by Hezbollah in the lebanese iraeli war 2006, these pictures are taken from this web site. Shouldn't there be any law suit about this deceit. not only because of the lies the paper opposed on its readers but also to reserve the right of Mark torpedo's picture and the war they really represent? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 212.36.213.60 (talk • contribs) 07:01, 21 August 2006 (UTC).

- In answer to the anon, I think no. Chris notes in the image description that it is compiled from a series of public domain images. As Hezbollah used only one image, which they may have taken directly off the Navy site rather than through Wikipedia, then Chris cannot assert copyright as none of his work is involved and the image itself is public domain. Note that this image is actually located on Commons. - BT 04:11, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
