Marcus Alvers was a fictional terrorist in TV series 24 during season 3.

Nina Myers originally revealed that Alvers was an associate of arms dealer Michael Amador. He served as the connection between him and the architect of the day's events, Stephen Saunders. Alvers then proceeded to plant a vial of the Cordilla Virus in the Chandler Plaza Hotel.
A team dispatched from CTU Los Angeles arrived at the hotel, and Agent Gael Ortega found the vial. Gael attempted to diffuse the vial, but did not act fast enough, releasing the virus and infecting almost everyone in the building, including Marcus Alvers and Ortega himself.
He was apprehended by Michelle Dessler and made a deal to reveal Saunders to CTU. He became symptomatic shortly after and pleaded with Michelle to kill him, as the effects of the virus were much, much more painful. It is unknown whether Michelle did or not, but there can be no doubt that he died, as once somebody showed symptons of the virus, he/she was doomed.
