Marcus Morton (jurist)

Marcus Morton (April 8, 1819– February 10, 1891) was an American lawyer and jurist from Massachusetts. He served on the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court from 1869 to 1890 and was its Chief Justice after 1882.
His father, also Marcus Morton, and had been Governor of Massachusetts.
