Margherita Taylor

Margherita Taylor (born April 26, 1972 in Islington, London, England) is a British DJ and television presenter. In 1998, she became the original presenter of the channel 4 morning show, T4, alongside Dermot O'Leary. She left in 2001. Since then, she has continued work as a radio DJ for the London radio station Capital Radio, as well as being a music reporter for GMTV. She also does a lot of voice over work for British companies television adverts, including Woolworths.
Margherita currently hosts weekend breakfast on Capital 95.8, and is cover for the jocks during the week. She is the longest serving current member of the on-air team, having started at Capital in December 1994, working in a variety of shifts. She found fame in 1993 when sister station BRMB Birmingham offered her a slot as a DJ as part of a talent contest. It wasn't long before bosses in London were impressed with Margherita, and by the end of 1994 she was working at Capital FM.
