María Luisa Gil is a Cuban model and actress. She was chosen as Playboy's Playmate of the Month in June, 1998.
She was involved in a drug affair in 2001 with her husband Pedro Pajes, who was sentenced to life for cocaine trafficking. News sources reported she was facing 21 to 27 months in prison but it is unknown what was the actual trial sentence. [1] She was released from Federal Prison on 8/5/02 according to the Bureau of Prisons Website, after she was sentenced on 7/31/01 to 21 months. She served just over 12 months.
