Marianne Jelved

Marianne Jelved is a Danish politician. She was born on September 5, 1943 as Marianne Hirsbro and is educated as a teacher, and in the theory of education. She worked as an undergrade teacher for 22 years, and has taught teaching for about 10 years.
She was elected to the Danish Parliament in 1987 for the Social Liberal Party (Det Radikale Venstre), and was Minister of Economics from January 1993 to November 2001.
