Marianne Werner is a German athlete who competed mainly in the Shot.
She competed for West Germany in the 1952 Summer Olympics held in Helsinki, Finland in the Shot where she won the Silver medal. Then four years later returned with the unified Germany team to Melbourne for the 1956 Olympics where she won the bronze medal one place behind Soviet Galina Zybina for the second Olympics and eventual winner another soviet Tamara Tyshkevick.
