Marilyn Van Derbur

Marilyn Van Derbur was Miss America in 1958.
Van Derbur from Denver, Colorado, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Colorado. As a result of a long history of sexual abuse by her father, she founded the American Coalition for Abuse Awareness and One Voice and authored "Miss America By Day: Lessons Learned from Ultimate Betrayals and Unconditional Love".
