Mark Duffner
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mark Duffner was the coach of the Maryland Terrapins football team from 1992-1996. He compiled a 20-35 record. He appeared in no bowl games. His lone winning season came in 1995, finishing with a 6-5 record, which included 4 straight wins to start the season. His legacy at Maryland will be in the record book where most of the longstanding Single Game, Season and Career passing and receiving record were broken during his tenure.
Prior to College Park, he was head coach at Holy Cross, compiling a 60-5-1 record. After his firing he caught on as an assistant with the Cincinnati Bengals from 1997 to 2002 where he was linebackers coach and then defensive coordinator. From 2003 to 2005 he was with the Green Bay Packers. In early 2006 he was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as the linebackers coach.
