Mark Stevens, (born June 3, 1947 in Queens, New York, USA) is the CEO of MSCO, a results-driven management and marketing firm. He is a best selling author and popular media commentator on the intersection of business and private life. Mr. Stevens delivers business insights with blunt truths and unconventional wisdom.
Stevens is the author of more than 20 business-related books including the best sellers: “The Big Eight”; “King Icahn”; and “Sudden Death: The Rise and Fall of EF Hutton” (a Wall Street Journal bestseller and Library Journal “Business Book of the Year”). He shook the marketing establishment with his Business Week best seller, “Your Marketing Sucks” (Crown Business, 2003), and redefined the rules of business management with “Your Management Sucks” (Crown Business, 2006). His forthcoming work, “God Is A Salesman” (Warner Faith) will be published in 2007.
Stevens is an in-demand speaker at organizations from Nike and Oracle to the Culinary Institute of America. A frequent guest commentator, Stevens lends his insights and opinions on a wide variety of topics including Tom Cruise’s image (Fox News Channel/“The Big Story with John Gibson), Kate Moss’s personal crisis (The New York Post/Page Six), and ‘Why Successful Business People Don’t Sleep’ (The New York Times).
