Martha Mphahlele was born in Pretoria, South Africa. She grew up in Swaziland where she spent two decades working in banking. She is a business adviser and trainer and an Accredited Associate of the Institute for Independent Business International (IIB). She is the author of the book "A Time of Bliss".Memories of growing up in Swaziland...A tiny Kingdom, a nation anchored in age-old customs and beliefs, about a sleepy village shaken out of its slumber and an older generation struggling with the thrusting drive of their sons and daughters towards a liberated life. She lives in England and has three grown-up children and three grandchildren.
