Martin Eberhard

Martin Eberhard is CEO and co-founder of Tesla Motors, an electric car company in California. He is passionate about sportscars but has moral disagreements regarding dependence on oil imported from the Middle East and is also concerned about possible human causes of global warming. He is credited with creating the Silicon Valley's first automobile company.
Eberhard has paid a deposit on a Tesla Roadster from Tesla Motors. It is a battery electric sportscar with a 250 mile range. He will be among the first hundred owners.[1]
Before Tesla, Eberhard co-founded and founded start-ups, Network Computing Devices, Inc. and NuvoMedia, respectively.
