Mary Mills (golfer)

Mary Mills (born January 19, 1940) is an American professional golfer.
A graduate of Millsaps College, she was Mississippi Amateur Champion eight consecutive years from 1954 to 1961. Her rookie year on the LPGA Tour was 1962 and she was selected as the Rookie of the Year by Golf Digest. She won nine times on the Tour, including three major championships, the 1963 U.S. Open, which was her first victory in a professional tournament, and the 1964 and 1973 LPGA Championships. She played on the Tour for eighteen years and has subsequently worked as a golf instructor and golf course architect.
