Maryland Route 528 is the main road through Ocean City, Maryland, running along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Coastal Highway enters from Delaware, where it is designated Delaware Route 1, and becomes Maryland Route 528 at the state line, a block south of the intersection of Delaware Routes 54 and 20. This is one of the many entrances into Ocean City, Maryland, some others include Delaware Route 54, U.S. Route 50 and Maryland Route 90. At 32nd street, MD 528 takes on the name Philadelphia Avenue, which it keeps until ending just south of the eastern terminus of US 50 in downtown Ocean City.
