[edit] Disambiguation?
I expected to find a page related to Marcus Dixon, the Rome, Georgia high school student who was convicted of child molestation in 2003. A couple questions: 1) Does anyone object to reogranizing this so that 'Marcus Dixon' is a disambiguation page, pointing to separate articles about the TV character and the real-life person? 2) Assuming that there aren't any compelling arguments not to do this, does anyone know how to do this well? I would be happy to take a shot at it, but I have a feeling that the result would be a bit of a mess. --Rkstafford 21:16, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
- Well that Dixon doesn't even have a page to my knowledge nor do any of the links going to this article appear to be for that particular Dixon. For the time being, it would probably be better to put a disambig at the top of the page:
- For the _____ see [[Marcus Dixon (whatever)]].
- And start a page there. K1Bond007 22:48, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
What the hell is this TV crap? What about Marcus Dixon, the boy who's in jail for a crime that's no longer on the books? http://www.snopes.com/politics/crime/dixon.asp Nice encylopedia. 70.142.192.106 17:31, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
- If you want an article about that Marcus Dixon, then create an account and write one. Move this article to Marcus Dixon (Alias) and then go through all the articles where it's linked and fix it, and then you can start the other Dixon article here. Otto4711 17:43, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
