Hi!
I'm an electrical engineer from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. My hobbies, other than aimlessly browsing Wikipedia when other sources of entertainment run out, revolve around behavioral economics and macro economics (i.e. economics et psychology). I read The Economist and Nature regularly.
I'm into many sports: volleyball, alpine skiing, various racquet sports and white river kayaking.
I admire several persons of science:
- Carl Friedrich Gauss, this guy invented just about everything!
- Muhammad Yunus, for micro-credit.
- Norman Borlaug, for saving millions of people with genetically modified wheat.
- Daniel Sleator & Robert Trajan, for splay tree and link/cut trees.
- Jimmy Wales & Larry Sanger, for perhaps the best idea of the 21st century.
