Masueco, Salamanca

Masueco is a municipality placed to the Northwest of the province of Salamanca, Spain. It is 97 km from Salamanca. This municipality is placed in the zone of the nature reserve Them Arrive of the Douro, close to the border with Portugal separated by the river Douro. His altitude is 684 m on the level of the sea. It is a small and traditional village, of approximately 460 inhabitants. The economy is agriculture and cattle ranching. It has a rural landscape, subtropical vegetation, with earrings (slopes). Masueco is a village where it is possible to enjoy beautiful landscapes, nature, the river Douro, the spectacular waterfall of the river Uces of more than 50 m called the Well of the smokes.
