[edit] Unrelated person
I fixed the link at the bottom to an unrelated person who happens to have the same name. Or should it be removed altogether? Ravenswood 22:35, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Classical Hack?
Despite fame, Emmys, accolades, and an apparent reputation as something of a Renaissance man, fundamentally, Mason Williams lacks any real talent and his body of work is largely trite and irritating. Surely this article could be rewritten to depict the man as he is, someone who will be quickly forgotten once he gets too old to pretend to be an artist. Or better yet, delete the article altogether. Who truly cares about Mason Williams? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.101.215.127 (talk • contribs) 03:44, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

I think someone tried to learn Classical Gas and couldn't.... :)
[edit] Environmentalism POV
This section : "In line with a nationwide growing awareness of the importance of saving rivers from unnecessary hydroelectric exploitation,"etc is purely tendentious and not at all npov. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.193.63.155 (talk • contribs) 01:41, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- I've rewritten the first line of the "Environmentalism" section both to eliminate the POV and to base it on a source (a page about the history of the program from Williams' website). The remaining assertions I've fact-tagged because we have no source for them. Something about the content could be derived from the All Music Guide review, which was copied apparently verbatim for Amazon's and Barnes & Noble's reviews, not leaving us much variety to choose from. But I didn't see the claim currrently made about the musical style encompassing, and I removed the "tour de force" as a purely unsourced opinion. We don't even have a source yet for the statements about where, when, and before whom the work was performed. (It might be on Williams' site, but my cursory examination didn't reveal it. I'll leave the rest to others who know more about Williams, and know where to get this information reliably.) ~ Jeff Q (talk) 08:20, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
