Mat Osman

Mat Osman (born Mathew David Osman, 9 October 1967 in Welwyn Garden City) is an English musician. He was formerly the bassist in the band Suede. He studied at the London School of Economics where in 1989 he was awarded a BSc in Economics.
Mat Osman was a close school friend of Suede lead singer Brett Anderson and was in early gargage bands with Brett such as The Pigs and Suave And Elegant. Suede went on to be one of the most successful bands of the 1990's and brought British guitar music back to the mainstream. Since Suede's break up in 2003, Mat has provided music for television programmes such as 8 out of 10 cats and is currently in the band Mista Brown. [1]
He is currently attempting to forge a career in Content Management.
