Matai Smith (b. 11 July 1977 in Gisborne, New Zealand), is a Māori television presenter on both the Māori Television and TV3 networks. He currently co-host the children's show Pukana, an educational/variety show in the Māori language.
He is of Rongowhakaata, Ngai Taamanuhiri and Ngāti Kahungunu descent.
He has won the Best Reo Māori Television Presenter (Male) at the Māori Media Awards.
