Mathikettan Shola National Park

Mathikettan Shola National Park is a national park located in the Idukki region of Kerala in India. Part of the land, prior to it becoming a national park, had been leased out for the production of cardamom. It was declared a National Park in 2003. It covers an area of 12.82 km² in Udumbanchola taluk, Poopara village, Idukki district for protecting its ecological, faunal, floral and geographical wealth and its environment.
