Matriarch Stakes

The Matriarch Stakes is a Grade I turf race for thoroughbred horses run at Hollywood Park for a purse of $500,000. The race is open to fillies andmares, age three and up, and takes place over a distance of one mile on the grass. Like all Hollywood Park's Fall turf stakes, the race was on hiatus in 2005.
