Mathew Amoah (born October 24, 1980) is a Ghanaian international footballer who plays for Borussia Dortmund in Germany. He formerly played for SBV Vitesse, where he has spent almost his entire career. He is currently the in-form striker for Ghana, a stark contrast to his club form, where he was recently booed by his own fans. He has been an instrumental figure in Ghana's first ever qualification for the world cup, scoring 3 goals in three consecutive and important qualifying matches.
